Sometime I feel like that gay Carrie Bradshaw…Let me explain….. I can relate to someone throwing themselves into their work or hobbies to take their mind of off losing the person who means the most to them but has also been the person to inflict the most pain in their life.

I can relate to living every day on autopilot and asking my friends ”will I ever laugh again?” Like Carrie Bradshaw, I blog my heartache away. I get joy out of helping other people and laughing at silly things I read on other blogs. I like to read up on the latest fashions and trends and report back to the people who support me. These simple activities bring  joy into my life everyday.

I am also very broken hearted like Carrie Bradshaw. I feel like ive found my soulmate and we just keep going back and fourth in this thing called life.  How long do I have to wait until my “BIG” love comes back to me?! All I can do is wait….

Like Carrie, this holiday season will be the first without the love of my life. I think about her and I wish she was here with me….and like Carrie… I keep this all inside and try to close the chapter in this book.

My New Years will be spent with good friends, my laptop, and a bottle of red wine…..Just like Carrie.
